To set animations to specific characters like players you'll need the proper file structure. Its been awhile but I believe the file structure for the player would be meshes\actors\character\animations\DynamicAnimationReplacer\Skyrim.esm\00000007\1hm_attackpowerleft.hkx. Now believe it or not but I'm not very versed in DAR.
