Any gem that can make it to level 15, ie Shadow +, is profitable in dust to level to 15 and loot collect. Empowered gems are the best. If you get a Crystal gem, they can be leveled to 25 and looted for the highest gains. Just remember though, you are profiting dust but losing Flux to do so, it can get expensive quick.
