Nothing high tech. There is a small lag between gears as the unit does its thing. It is no problem to me but could be a little disconcerting to the first time user. I would suggest trying HST and GST to see which suits your use. If the primary use is a FEL or grading, the HST is the best in my opinion.

I was off of the clutch and both hands on the wheel so I don’t think I knocked anything out of gear . I have tried high and low and all four gears in both forward and reverse.

I don't have a shelter for the tractor and it is unfortunately stored outside. I am having problems with the shifting. When I move the level to shift gears, the lever moves but it doesn't shift to the correct gear.
