With how fast late game monsters are and some with insane range and AOE, LBG is better at evading and repositioning so it's easier to use. HBG has an option to equip a shield tho. With guard 5, tune up 1, Embolden 3 and some lvls of guard up as needed, HBG can tank majority of monster attacks. Pretty alright if you want to farm with your brain off.
