Ship module placement bug causing invisible ship. TL;DR Only place the Comspike and Conduction grid modules on a cockpit. Other modules may be location sensitive as well. During the Eye of the Storm quest line for the Crimson fleet, at a certain point you must put the Comspike and Conduction Grid modules on your ship.
