One the lock, the other the door handle. Make sure they are fully seated/snapped into the bracket holding them and the ball end is in the socket. If the lock popped out of there it would make noise and maybe wiggle but wouldn't actually fully engage.

Walk away lock 2024 Crosstrek. I was just curious if the 2024 Crosstrek has walk away lock feature but it's disabled by Subaru. It looks like it has the tech, it turns on the map light when you get close and turn them off if you walk away. Subaru doesn't do this. Neither does Toyota, which is where they get the tech from.
