I've got a Boito .410 in single shot. It is a fun little gun. I learned to hunt with it. Most of these .410 guns were full choke. A double might be full/modified. The star choke designation may be the same as the Browning markings, I don't know that for shure though.

1108 posts · Joined 2005. #11 · Jul 4, 2007. Fastarget is correct. Merkel chokes tend to run tight. My 1620 is marked VBZ/1/2 (IC/Mod), but the chokes patterned more like Mod/Improved Mod. I opened the IC barrel to skeet and the left barrel remains a tight Mod. It makes for a pretty versatile gun.
