The PVT is not 100% accurate. There have been some reports of getting a “bad pop-up” or “false result”. However, it is a fairly good indicator to what a student’s result actually is. Its a trick where if you try to register for another exam either you a. get the good pop up saying you cant register (means you passed) or b. it declines your card or tells you wrong info (which means you failed). The only time I've heard of the pop up not workin is when it takes you to the CC page and then you end up passing. If it shuts off at 75 with the good pop up, you passed. It’s very rare for it to shut off at 75 with a fail. It will usually give you more questions/chances. I would be interested to know that statistics of passing/failing at 75.

While you are saving up, I’d def recommend doing the free demo questions for princeton review, archer, uworld, and lippincott! princeton’s demo has several quizzes categorized by client-need areas (safety& infection, management of care, pharmacology, psychosocial, etc) & it lasts 5 days.

Just took NCLEX two hours ago. When is the best time to check for good or bad pop up? The exam ended after 75 questions. Usually you wait until you get your confirmation of testing, and then do the PVT. I got my confirmation 30 mins after i finished testing!Took Nclex today. Cutoff at 85. Hi, took the nclex pn and stopped at 85 with 26 SATA. I tried the Pearson vue trick and got the good pop up. Does the trick work? Anyone else get this and pass? This is my third time taking it!! I'm so scared I didn't pass again, but have a bit of hope since I've never received the good pop up. I'm in Cali so it takes awhile to get results.

Close to 20 friends have graduated in the last year and it has worked them too. 2 of them ended up not passing and it let them reschedule the exam instead of the pop up. You should get a refund to your card, looks like NCBSN patched it so you have to put in accurate card details in order for the popup system to work. You passed !! Good pop up!!! Congrats!
