88 yj overheating. I just bought an 88 YJ with a straight 6 only so I can join this club. Well it was driving great on the way home until I got into the city and had to slow down. My temp gage instantly maxed out and when I got out to look there was no leaks and only overflowing in the overfill resevoir.

I would recommend lowering the Jeep to 2.5-3.5 inches of lift unless you are prepared to do a lot of extra work to make 6 inches of lift comfortable.
