The previous owner snapped the cable and couldn't figure out how to route it back. I found a picture online that's looks like from a model 47 can someone confirm?

It might be fine as is. I removed my 47 from my 400 and installed it on my 420 by removing a couple of braces from the blower that were added to fit the wider frame. It was very easy. I don't think your gonna have an issue if you already have it ready to hook up to the frame.
