I do not believe the VA sends out records anymore, I believe they give contractors limited access to veterans VARO, VAMC and Community Care Records. I had two separate contract examinations, the first examiner took and reviewed a copy of my medical evidence and wrote a favorable medical opinion with a good medical rationale.But my guy was definitely on the "treat the vet like an individual" and not one of those horror stories of "just another number" some may have experienced in the past with other stuff related to the VA. There are several contract vendors doing VA exams, and LHI is one of the better ones. You should be fine.
