But it's Your bike. Do what ever you want. The biggest mistake people make is letting the reservoir run dry. Then fill the reservoir, but don't bleed the air out of the pump. The pump can't pump air, so the oil doesn't get to it, therefore doesn't get to engine.Magnet is in the plastic bushing. You might pull out the plastic bushing which leaves the oil pump shaft in the engine. Turning the flywheel by hand will move the oiler shaft out until you can grab it. Shouldn't need any tools but might help to have needle nose pliers and or a magnet handy.
