First time posting, just bought a CECHA01 on offerup (with the travel bag, SCORE!) OG owner disclosed it wasn't displaying, figured it just needed a reset, so I took the risk. Unfortunately I plugged it up (console looks immaculate easily a 8.5 or 9 outta 10) and did the reset no display on hdmi, switched cable over to AV, reset again and no luck.

Sell it before it YLOD's. Its one of the most valuable PS3 cause of hardware backwards compatibility. You'll get a decent price for it, but even if you wait don't expect the world for it. Imo it's probably won't climb higher than it already is in price. There are two 80GB PS3 models. The CECHE 80GB model is backwards compatible with PS2 games. It used a similar setup to the CECHC model, using software emulation for the Emotion Engine and RAMBUS memory but also using the PS2 GPU the Graphics Synthesiser. The CECHE was only released in SOME NTSC regions for a limited time.
