It will be enough to get you most of the camo upgrades but still not enough to max the camo out completely. I'd suggest either finishing the full story without it and waiting till you decide to do motherland or do motherland now and the campaign later but wouldn't suggest the second one as motherland takes place after the campaign

If you want the optical camo that badly, go and get it, you have to play through the first conquest mission / area to unlock it but after that you can just hop around and find it.
