It goes like this, the battery has sufficient charge to energize the starter solenoid, but once the solenoid contacts close and power is supplied to the motor, voltage to the solenoid drops and the contacts open, removing power to the motor.

One cylinder (the right side) refuses to idle under no choke, idles okay under full and half choke, but will stall out unless you give it some throttle w/ no choke.

Newbie here. I have a 1999 Vulcan VN800 Classic that sat for a long time that I am putting back on the road. I have just fully rebuilt the carbs and upon putting it all back together and adding gas, it started pouring (I mean pouring like straight through an open hole) out of the breather/vent attached directly to the underside of the tank.

Could be out of adjustment, dirty, no good, etc. Give it a looksee. Post back with findings.
