OK, so I've had this Stihl 028 for 30 years. It's had an easy life - not a lot of hours on it. It sat unused for about 3 years so I took it in to the local saw shop and had it all fixed up last fall. For a 028, I would not use anything longer than an 18 inch bar.This is my own opinion.With a 20 inch you will not only have a longer bar but a lack of oil.
