It's certainly easier siding with Kematu. It's quite the fight if you take on Kematu and the rest of them at once. Yes, Kematu casts a paralysis spell on Saadia to subdue her, assumingly for transport. Paralysis spells do not kill. And to the person who based their entire argument for Saadia being innocent by them not being able to fast travel away because there is an enemy nearby, it's not because Kematu is an enemy.Then kill him, and when the paralysis wears off on saadia (since kematu was killed, it does wear off), she gets up and is hostile to you, so use a spell to calm her down, then get extra gold from her fro dealing with kematu for her.
