I started reading 2-3 days before my MCAT, memorized everything on it, and got a 132. I did not do any other studying for that section. Both if you can, but AAMC 100%. AAMC for sure, must buy. Would recommend kaplan (just the books will do, cop a used set for around $100) and NS exams for $100 if you can. AAMC - you can substitute KA instead of Kaplan for content review. but you cannot substitute Kaplan practice for the AAMC official practice materials.

The kaplan book is a good supplemental tool to guide you at times you feel like the 300 pg doc is vague or you need some context for some terms.
