I went down this rabbit hole with my Model 3 and ultimately gave up on MyQ. I ordered the homelink add on and got it in a week or so. I scheduled a mobile install and the Tesla service guys came out and installed it next day at no cost. It’s a pain that it’s not included but honestly I love the integration once installed.
